A major domestic food additive enterprise mainly produces corn starch and glucose powder. The production line adopts fully enclosed powder conveying and needs to meet FDA food safety standards. Raw materials are mixed with worn iron scraps and screw fragments from equipment. Traditional screens cannot remove fine iron impurities of 20–200μm. Manual magnetic rod cleaning requires shutdown 2–3 times per shift, causing about 15% production capacity loss and potential metal foreign matter complaint risks.

The enterprise adopted food-grade permanent drawer grate magnet with SS316L material and 13000Gs magnetic strength. Neodymium iron boron magnetic rods are arranged in staggered double rows, achieving over 99.8% removal rate of fine iron impurities. The drawer quick-dismantling structure allows impurity cleaning without shutdown, completed within 3 minutes. The fully polished stainless steel design has no dead corners and is easy to clean, complying with food hygiene standards.

Installed at silo outlet and mixer inlet without modifying existing pipelines. After application, iron impurity detection dropped to 0ppb, eliminating metal foreign matter complaints. Production capacity increased by 18% with reduced downtime, and annual maintenance working hours decreased by over 800 hours. The equipment has been fully promoted on 3 production lines.
